Vacation: 4% gross salary Language: English Position The duties of Server at Havana are as follows: · Greet patrons, present menus, and balance seating capacity. · Retain detailed knowledge of the restaurant's food menu, wine and cocktails list, as well as any nightly specials. · Make recommendations and answer questions for patrons regarding menu items. · Take orders and relay to and bar staff. · Recommend beverages that highlight the Latin flavors i.e.: wine, beer, cocktails, etc. · Serve food and beverages to multiple groups at one time. · Prepare and serve specialty foods at patrons' tables. · Present bill to patrons and accept payment in various forms, including: cash, debit and credit card payments. · Order and maintain inventory of goods, utensils, and cleaning products. · Assist store ownership / management to train new and current employees on Havana -approved customer service practices · Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to management. Ensure an open line of communication between front of house and back of house staff throughout shifts.
