Fintech Innovation Canada Inc. is looking for IT Product Manager (NOC 20012) Vancouver, BC Summary: IT Product Manager is responsible for guiding the success of company's IT products and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving online banking software developed and supported by our company based on MS Windows Server + SQL server and .Net platform. IT Product Manager reviews, prioritises and processes financial institutions' custom feature requests, and collaborates with the sales team, financial institutions and vendors. The position location is Metro Vancouver area, 400-319 W. Hastings St., Vancouver, BC V6B 1H6. Main duties and responsibilities: · Organize, manage, direct, control and co-ordinate day-to-day operations of IT Professional Services department, develop and implement policies and procedures; · Assemble, lead and manage cross-functional team of different IT specialists (developers, QAs, computer analysts and engineers); · Set work schedules, oversee and provide technical direction for activities of team members; · Recruit and train new team members to deliver exceptional success of company's IT products; · Manage releases and follow up on user approvals, defect resolution, modify and test IT products, follow financial institutions' custom feature requests; · Meet with clients to discuss new feature requirements, specifications and timelines; · Oversee and evaluate new feature development process and progress, track key factors and work with the stakeholders; · Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, specifications and diagrams. Requirements for the position: · Experience: at least 5 years of work experience in IT, including supervisory experience; · Education: bachelor's degree; · Language: good English, excellent written and verbal communications skills.
