Job Title: Home Support worker (NOC 44101) Wage: CAD 25.00/hour Working hours: 30 hours per week Term of employment: permanent position Language of work: English Work Location: Vancouver, BC Job duties and Responsibilities: *Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, undressing, grooming, and toileting, and ensure personal hygiene and comfort. *Plan and prepare meals tailored to the family members' dietary needs and preferences. *Maintain a medication schedule, ensure the senior takes medications as prescribed by the doctors and keep track of medication schedules. *Provide friendly and compassionate company to alleviate feelings of loneliness, engage in conversation, and participate in enjoyable activities. *Encourage and assist with physical activities and exercises. *Maintain the front and backyard tidy and clean. *Take care of household pets. *Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. *Provide additional support as needed
