Not very often. As our digital marketing guru, you develop and execute cutting-edge digital campaigns, built to steer not only our current business with 25% of the top-100 global brands, but those designed to bring in the other 75%. This is not a task for the faint of heart. To further accelerate our rapid growth, we are in search of a talented and motivated Digital Marketing Director to join our marketing team. In this new role, reporting to the SVP Marketing, you will have the unique opportunity of planning and executing a strategic and progressive online media plan. You will work across a variety of internal teams, including marketing, creative, and IT. You will take your passion and experience in digital marketing and develop creative media campaigns that will help grow our online presence, drive customers to our door, while increasing the company’s revenue and product awareness. Using your strong interpersonal and influential skills, you will plot our digital marketing course, providing guidance and expertise to our senior brass. As our online media expert, you source out the next generation technologies that drive the implementation of our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have minimum 6+ years experience in the interactive marketing space, working either on the agency or client side. You have solid experience in search engine marketing and SEO. You have strong analytical and project management skills, are detail oriented, and have the ability to implement effective processes. *Managing the growth of our global web assets including visioncritical.com, fireflysurveys.com and our various localized country sites (ex. visioncritical.fr) *Responsible for the growth and success of communities, SEO/PPC, online advertising, and blog outreach *Tracking and analyzing online advertising programs; designing test strategies and creative to optimize results *Manage external agencies as required *6+ years marketing experience in a corporate environment preferably in a high tech environment *4+ years experience in online marketing including SEO/SEM, site management, and community management *Candidates must have an active involvement in online communities as well as hands-on expertise in digital communications including blogging/microblogging, podcasting, video sharing and streaming, widgets, viral campaign management, mobile marketing, and social networking *A strong interest in how businesses utilize online and mobile communications to interact with their target audiences and a passion for emerging online trends and culture *Recognized for execution as well as strategic thinking *Preference to those with word press 3.0 authoring and salesforce.com experience
