Masonlift Ltd. is located at 1605 Cliveden Avenue, Delta, BC , V3M 6P7 is looking for one permanent full-time Field Service Forklift Mechanic to service and repair all types of Material Handling equipment such as Forklifts, Container Handlers, Reach Stackers, Yard Tractors, I.C. electric and diesel in Delta and all surrounding areas. Main Duties Repair and maintain forklift and other material handling equipment at our workshop and at different locations across the Greater Vancouver Area Diagnose problems for all kinds of different material handling equipment. Schedule routine inspections and maintenance. Inspect and test engine and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults. Adjust, repair or replace mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system parts and components of forklifts and heavy equipment. Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance. Determine estimates of repair cost. May repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on Forklifts Telehandlers, Container Handlers, Reach stackers. Repair and maintain all kinds of forklift style equipment. Must be willing to work after hours if needed and must be available to go to customer sites after hours if repairs are required. Drive to different locations across the lower mainland and other regions if required. Experience Requirement Required to have several year's experience in repairs and maintenance of forklifts and/or heavy equipment or Heavy-Duty Mechanics or Construction Equipment or Commercial Transport. Mechanical aptitude with formalized training in mechanics, automotive or similar mechanical training. Qualification / Education Red Seal Mechanic qualification from any jurisdiction or any other qualification such as Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Commercial Transport Mechanic or Automotive certification is preferred Personal Requirement Valid driver's license from any jurisdiction Wages and Benefits The wage offered is $38 to $40 per hour, and overtime is time and a half, 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
