Location of Work: 2390 Riverside Drive, Timmins, Ontario, P4R1M9 Title of Position: Transport Truck Driver (NOC 73300) Language: English Vacancies: 3 Type of Position: Permanent, full time Job Duties: · Operate and drive primarily tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials over short and long distances. · Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods. · Perform and maintain logbooks of pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage. · Ensure cargo is secured properly as per safety requirements and follow all safety procedures. · Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. · Maintain a complete maintenance and repair logbooks. · Administer bills of lading and maintain logbooks. · Report and log accidents or incident accurately. Skills Required: · Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, organized, reliable. · Sitting for extended periods of time. · Must be able to obtain AZ Class License. · Must be able to obtain Certification. Experience Required: · Experience is an asset. Education Required: · Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.
