No. of vacancies: 03 Term of employment: Permanent, full time Anticipated start date: as soon as possible Work location: 15957 84 AVE suite #204, Surrey, British Columbia V4N 0W7 Wage rate: $35.00 per hour for 40 hours a week Education: secondary education Experience : Not required/ will train Language: english Driver licence (Class 1 or A) is required. Job duties: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
