Title: Graphic Designer NOC: 52120 Salary: $35.00 Per Hour Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent Positions Available: 2 Start Date: As soon as possible Job Requirement · Completion of a College diploma/degree in the same field is required. · Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field will be an asset. Job Duties: · Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials. · Able to develop innovative design solutions while following creative and art direction. A passion for design is mandatory. · Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials. · Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. · Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. · Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements. · Use computer-aided design (CAD) programs to create designs. · Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design. · Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers. · Co-ordinate sub-contracting. · Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians. · Perform other duties as and when required.
