Term of Employment: Full-Time Permanent Position (37- 40 hrs/week) Work Location: Various Locations Job Duties: · Preparing mortar and adhesive for tradespersons. · Transport tiles and other materials to the site and assist the tiles setter in placing the tiles on the bed formed. · Assist the tile setter in the cutting of the tiles. · Tend or feed machines or equipment used on the site. · Removing rubble, debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites using basic equipment such as a shovel, broom, rake, and wheelbarrow. · Assist with assembling, installing, or removing barricades, ramps, temporary structures, and scaffolding. · Loading, unloading, and identifying building materials and ensuring that they are distributed to the appropriate locations. · Combine and apply appropriate materials to various surfaces or areas, as per the instruction of the tradesperson. · Remove old tiles by using hand and machine tools and clean up the marked area by removing the debris. · Operating and maintaining tools and equipment as instructed by tradesperson. · Perform other activities at the work site as directed by the tradesperson or site manager.
