Employer Information Legal name: Harpreet Brar & Jagsir Brar Operating Name: Brar Farms Business Address: 5138, 125A Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 3M8 Position Description Position: Farm Supervisor Type of employment: Full-time - Permanent; Year- round work No of positions: 2 Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible Work Location: 5138, 125A Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 3M8 Salary and Benefits Salary: $22.00 per hour Overtime and Vacation Pay Stable & full-time employment Work-life balance through flexible and accommodating work environment Job Responsibilities · Inspect crop/field to determine conditions and need for pruning, weeding, harvesting or other agriculture operations required. · Maintain quality control and prepare reports regarding farm conditions, yields, machinery breakdowns, or labor problems. · Assign duties to workers such as pruning, irrigation, harvesting, packaging, or grading. · Supervise & oversee the growing & other crop-related operations and train farm workers. · Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers. · Make sure all the safety procedures are followed by the workers. · Develop work schedules and establish procedures. · May perform the same agricultural duties as subordinates. Job Requirements · Minimum 1- years' experience. · Basic knowledge of English. · Ability to supervise and work in a fast-paced environment which may be physically demanding.
