Job duties: · Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing crafts. · Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods. · Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. · Help children with proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits. · Submit written observations about children to early childhood educators or supervisors. · Maintain daycare equipment and help with housekeeping and cooking tasks. · Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and issues. · Assist early childhood educators or supervisors with record-keeping as needed.
