Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200) Company: Menzies Roofing Corporation Location: 19370-60th Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 3M2 Position Overview: Menzies Roofing Corporation is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. This position offers competitive compensation at $26.67 per hour, with 30 hours of work per week with 10 days vacation, medical, dental & disability benefits & possibly a yearly bonus upon review performance. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain accurate financial records and accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. · Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balance of books. · Manage general ledgers and prepare financial statements. · Record transactions in the company's books and reconcile with bank & credit card statements. · Calculate and issue cheques for payrolls, utilities, taxes, and other bills. · Complete and submit various government documents such as tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, and pension contribution forms. · Prepare tax returns and provide other personal bookkeeping services. · Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
