ABOUT VACANCY At this time, we are seeking a Production Operations Manager to assume full operational control of the production process. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Plan, direct, control and oversee day-to-day production operations · Ensure standard operating procedures are adhered to and production quality standards are met and upheld · Manage the company's resources to improve productivity and efficiency · Manage and control operational and overhead budgets and execute action plans to drive efficiencies · Plan and implement proper quality control systems · Monitor and regulate staffing needs in the production process to ensure optimum staffing levels are supporting business demands · Provide progress and cost reports, requests and improvement suggestions to senior management · Manage risks to minimize losses, production downtime, and inefficient processing · Address and resolve production-related issues QUALIFICATIONS · College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field · Minimum 5 years of supervisory/ managerial experience in the production/ manufacturing environment · Strong decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills · Fluent English WORK CONDITIONS · Permanent, full-time position · $51.50 per hour · 40 hours of work per week · Overtime pay ($77.25/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week · Work location: 50 Hollinger Road, East York, Ontario M4B 3G5 To apply, please send your resume by email to "info@mysunglow.com".
