Main Responsibility: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the research lab and field program while reporting to the Research Technician and/ or Director of Research & Development. Responsibilities:Assist with:updating seed inventory databaseseed set-up for field trialscollection of data on seed quality of seeding and harvest samplescollection of data on research field plotscompilation of field trial dataoperation of lab equipmentseed shipmentsthere may be an opportunity to work part-time hours in the fall Qualifications:enrollment in a diploma or degree program in plant science, agronomy, horticulture or a related discipline preferred.
