As a Retail Store Manager(NOC: 60020), you will perform some or all of the following duties: · Oversee, plan, and assess the operations of retail establishments or specific departments within these establishments. · Supervise staff, delegate tasks, and manage daily responsibilities. · Analyze market research and trends to understand consumer preferences, predict sales volumes, and assess the impact of competitors on sales performance. · Decide on the products and services to be offered while establishing pricing and credit policies. · Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to source merchandise for resale when necessary. · Design and execute effective marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance brand visibility. · Develop financial plans, approve expenditures, and monitor income to achieve budgetary goals. · Enhance customer service standards, address customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly. · Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, and retention of employees to maintain a skilled and motivated team. Qualifications: · Completion of secondary school is required. · Previous 1 to 2 years of experience in the retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent is required. · Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload. · Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. · Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including requirements to lift up to 20 pounds.
