O/A Subway Sandwiches & Salads has an immediate opening for an experienced Restaurant Manager (NOC: 60030) at our location in Smith Falls, Ontario. As a, Restaurant Manager (NOC: 60030) you will perform some or all of the following duties: · Interview, hire, train, oversee, staff training · Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance · Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, cafeteria, or other food or beverage service · Manage the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, supplies and modify procedures and prices · Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food · Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas · Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations · Resolve customer complaints and investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service · Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures · Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies · Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions. · Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service Qualifications: · Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required. · 2 to 3 years of experience in the foodservice sector, including supervisory experience, are required. · Multi tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management. · Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. · Flexible, Team player, Ability to tackle problems Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week) Compensation: CA $ 25.25 /hour Location: 107 Lombard St, Smiths Falls, Ontario, K7A 5B8 To apply e-mail your resume to: subwayjob65@yahoo.com
