Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager NOC: 60030 Starting date: ASAP Job duties: · Assist the restaurant manager with daily operational tasks, including leading staff to deliver excellent service. · Plan, develop, and implement restaurant operational policies and procedures. · Oversee hiring, training, and retention of restaurant employees. · Monitor employee performance and conduct periodic performance reviews. · Develop staff work schedules to ensure quality service and manage labour costs. · Manage the operational budget and maintain relevant financial records. · Control inventory for food and restaurant supplies, monitoring revenues to ensure maximum profitability. · Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and food quality. · Ensure compliance with all hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements and guidelines. · Negotiate arrangements, prices, and deliveries with suppliers. · Promote and market the restaurant, consistently assessing profitability and identifying areas for improvement.
