Position Info: · Position: Chef · Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent · Wage: $34.62~$37.00/hour (depending on experience) · Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week · Number of Positions: 1 · Work Location: Suite 410, 1185 Prosperity Way, Williams Lake, BC V2G 0A6 Benefits: · 4% vacation pay Job Duties: · Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods. · Supervise the work of cooks and other kitchen staff. · Demonstrate cooking staff to new techniques and equipment. · Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. · Develop menus and ensure that all food meets established quality standards. · Prepare dishes tailored to customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. · Manage the recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff. · Coordinate the purchase and repair of kitchen equipment. · Order food and other necessary kitchen supplies. · Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking techniques, garnishing, and presentation.
