Job Title: Logistics Manager Transportation (NOC 70020) Location: SCARBOROUGH, ON Hours: 35 hours per week, permanent full-time Vacancy: 1 Wages: $52.5/hour Job duties: · Oversees the shipping and delivery of products with transportation staff · Manage the loading of trucks, set up daily delivery routes · Manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers and suppliers · Conduct a cost analysis for selecting the transportation companies · Analyze product orders to research the need for the products in stock · Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment · Quickly respond to new orders and ensure products delivery on time · Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders · Ensure compliance with health and safety and other legal requirements · Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance and other department to achieve strategic goals for the business · Ensure all team members are trained and performing in a safe and efficient manner according to company instruction Experience and Education Requirement: · Completion of a college or university program · At least two years in transportation and supervisory experience in the field.
