Kitchen Manager Roles and Responsibilities: · Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff by scheduling and assigning duties · Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met · Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary · Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the restaurant's specific dishes or menus · Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation · Prepare order summaries and reports · Train new staff in their duties, sanitation, and safety procedures Requirements: · 3+ years' experience · College education in hospitality, food service, business or relevant fields or equivalent experience · Excellent communication and people skills · Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated Working Condition: · Work activities will require evening and weekend Language of Work: English Job Location: Tondou Ramen 234 King Street West Hamilton, ON L8P 1A9 Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week Salary $34.07 (CAD) per hour Tips available Employee discount available Incremental wage raise available based on performance review and/or inflation We thank you for your interest, however, please take note that we will be contacting only those candidates that have been selected for the next steps.
