Position Info: · Position: Tile setter · Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent · Wage: $34.00 - $37.00 hour (depending on experience) · Hours: 30 - 40 hours/week · Number of Positions: 2 · Work Location: 1012 Boxcar Close, Goldstream, BC V9E 4S5 Benefits: · 4% vacation pay Job Duties: · Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile installation · Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, cables, and brackets · Mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand tools such as a trowel · Cut and fit tiles around fixtures and openings using hand and power cutting tools · Position tiles and apply pressure to secure them in place · Install tile edging strips as needed · Cut, polish, and install marble and granite surfaces · Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout to finish joints · Remove and replace broken or damaged tiles · Lay mosaic tiles to create decorative wall and floor patterns; mix and polish terra surfaces · May prepare material orders and estimate project costs and supervise other workers Job requirements: · Experience: 3~5 years of experience in related field is required · Education: Completion of secondary school is required · Language: English How to Apply: · Company information: JTBC Construction Ltd. · Email address: jtbc.resume@outlook.com · Please apply via Email indicated above
