At this point, we are looking to hire a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position. Primary Responsibilities: · Inspect, identify and diagnose issues and repair various types of heavy-duty equipment such as forklifts, walkies, reach trucks, Tourette trucks, scissor-lifts, etc. · Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement, to ensure equipment reliability. · Repair or replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical components. · Conduct safety checks and test repaired equipment to meet operational and regulatory standards. · Maintain records of maintenance and repairs and manage inventory of spare parts and tools. · Train operators and support maintenance teams in proper equipment use and basic upkeep. · Ensure all work complies with food safety and workplace regulations. Requirements of Position: · Secondary School Diploma · At least 1 years of experience as a heavy-duty equipment technician or similar role · Familiarity working with equipment and tools involving mechanical, diesel, and electronic systems Compensation & Conditions: · Permanent, full-time position, · 36-hour work week, · $34.73 per hour, · Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week · Benefits: Group Medical and Dental Plan.
