Origin Active Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Food Service Supervisor in Canmore, AB. Terms of Employment Wage: $18.30 - $20.00/hour (depending on experience). Position: Full-time, Permanent. Schedule: Holidays, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability Accommodation: On-site housing option is available Specific Duties and Responsibilities · Supervises opening or closing procedures for the dining room. · Supervise the dining room team and maintain uniform service standards. · Conduct daily pre-shifts prior to service with team members. · Ensure side duties is completed every day and dining room supplies are stocked. · Review daily menu and other applicable announcements. · Anticipate resident needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience. · Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, and floors for proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety. Take immediate action to correct any issues. · Ensures meal count is accurate and attendance is completed. · Receive and greet residents and their guests; assist with seating at reserved tables. · Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction and resolve resident complaints and concerns. · Assists with training new-hires in service standards utilizing WOW training manual, menu items and use of POS System. · Provide constructive feedback from residents during menu planning and design. · Assist in supervising Morning Star House meal service, set up and clean up. · Understands and executes policy and procedures. · Provides assistance in the Food Production area and/or the Dish room, on an as-needed basis.
