Operating Name: Longterm House Business Address: 11240 Bridgeport Road, Unit 4, Richmond, BC V6X 1T2 Job Title: Construction Worker (NOC 75110) Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent, 30-40 Hours / Week Language Required: None Wage: $34.9 dollars/hour Location of Work: · 11240 Bridgeport Road, Unit 4, Richmond, BC V6X 1T2 · Various location in and around Lower Mainland BC Start Date: ASAP Position Available: 1 Job Duties: · Prepare work sites and facilities by loading and unloading materials, tools, and facilities. · Assemble and break down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding with attention to safety. · Assist with the installation of flooring, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing for a seamless result. · Assist professionals, such as roofers, carpenters, electricians, painters, etc. as required. · Inspect harmful materials such as asbestos and determine locations to remove them safely. · Assist with transport equipment and operate them as directed. · Dig holes and other structures to prepare for the construction site. · Smooth and level new material installed and pasted in the construction process. · Use equipment to break out old forms and structures of the building. · Sort and Remove debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites according to environmental standards. · Place traffic signals where appropriate. · Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment or walking on the work sites, even when not on active duty. · Maintain equipment used in asbestos removal projects, including respirators and protective clothing. · Keep a brisk and productive pace of work to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints.
