Foremost Universal LP is in need of CNC OPERATOR NOC Code: 94106 Employment Terms: Full-time - Permanent Foremost Universal has an immediate opening for a CNC Operator located at our north facility in Hythe, AB Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist operators in metal working department 2. Forming materials (Flanging head, Rolling shells, etc) 3. Minor pipe fitting tasks 4. Operate Overhead Crane in a safe manner 5. Follow current standards and procedures 6. Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor 7. General tasks that improve shop flow and function 8. Performs other tasks related to his/her classification Working Hours: 10 hours/day; 40 hours/week; shifts will vary between days and nights; Monday to Thursday; 3 days off on Friday to Sunday Wage/Benefits: $25.88/hour; Extended Medical, Dental and Disability Insurance Work Location: 9816 100 Ave, Hythe, AB, Canada T0H 2C0 Employment Requirements: * Education: Completion of secondary school is required * Work Experience: Previous experience with CNC plasma table, brake & plate rolls an asset but will train the right candidate * Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs * Working knowledge of safe lifting methods * Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills * Strong work ethic and positive team attitude * Able to communicate both verbally and in writing * Safety Training an asset, but will train as required This work is performed in a combination of environments and may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils.
