Position Overview:This position is responsible for providing support to the Merchandisers and assist with facilitating trading activities and coordinating logistics for the assigned area.Key Responsibilities:Gain a working knowledge of Trade Group operations including but not limited to sales logistics general operations and originations.Focus on customer service and generate value for the customer and company from all current and potential marketing opportunities.? Develop and support strong relationships with both current and new customersProvide trading and logistics support to Merchandisers and Account RepresentativesPerform basic report updates and maintenanceWhat is expected of you and others at this level:Knowledge of grain and the transportation industryKnowledge of futures basis spreads currency grain movement marketing skills and a general knowledge of sales techniquesSelf-motivated and has strong negotiation skills and abilityUses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problemsReceives instruction guidance and directionPerforms routine assignmentsMinimum Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor?s Degree required or the equivalent in work experience1-3 years? relevant experience requiredThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
