"1420172 Ontario Ltd. O/A Dairy Max" is currently seeking a driven passionate "Purchasing & Inventory Management Coordinator" to join our Warehouse/Business. Dairy Max provides our customers with fast and reliable delivery of the highest quality dairy products.
JOB TITLE: Purchasing & Inventory Management Coordinator
JOB LOCATION: 5050 Edwards Blvd, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, L5T 2W3 (1 Vacancy)
JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $34.10 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 Hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Warehouse/Office
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Organize and manage the logistical operations within supply chain departments or teams.
· Coordinate with various teams, including production coordinators, warehouse staff, supervisors from production and construction, as well as purchasing and inventory clerks, to ensure seamless collaboration across warehouses, production areas, construction zones, or other relevant supply chain sectors.
· Monitor and control the stock levels of materials and components necessary for production tasks.
· Work closely with the production supervisor to efficiently schedule manufacturing activities, optimizing both cost and time.
· Create and update different reports that track work progress, materials consumption, production rates, and other relevant production data, using either manual or digital systems.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience is required in the position or related position
· Ability to supervise 5-10 people.
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
· Ability to lift heavy weights, meet tight deadlines and attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and high level of confidentiality, integrity, ethics and professionalism
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows would be an asset.
· Ability to work independently, flexible for all shifts, good time management, organizational, good teamwork and Interpersonal Skills.
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills
