We are currently recruiting for multiple Sales Agronomists to join ours team based out of our Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Foremost, AB locations. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the agriculture industry. This position works together with our growers and team members in collaboration with industry representatives to attain the targets set by our customers by providing agronomic assistance and technical help while supporting our sales and marketing activities. Ag. or CCA is beneficialOrganized, self-directed and self-motivated?Excellent time management skills and strong work ethicStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skillsHigh commitment to learning new technologies and agronomic practicesValid class 5 driver's license and clean driver abstract?Excellent computer skills with the ability to use MS Office SuitePositive and upbeat attitude?Eager to learn??Duties and Responsibilities?Build strong relationships with growers and industry representatives.?Provide sound agronomic advice while determining appropriate recommendations and technical positioning for agronomic practices and products.?Provide customer support and expert advice on crop nutrition, soil test interpretation, field scouting, diagnostics, and product recommendations.?Utilize agronomic expertise and anticipation of agronomic trends to improve market positioning and profitability of proprietary and vended crop protection and plant nutrition/performance products.Assist with the management and delivery of crop nutrition products, seed, and crop protection products and services.?Develop business plans with farm customers and provide follow-up on cropping plans and recommendations.Support agronomy and sales activities such as agronomy alerts/updates, agronomy bulletins, crop tips, grower agronomy and product meetings, field diagnostics, product inquiry resolution, quick response access to agronomic information by phone and email, marketing and advertising ideas and tools.Daily travel, extended hours and overnight travel as requiredBe able to lift 40-50 lbs.?Be willing to learn how to operate a forklift.?As a part of AgroPlus, you will work in a positive environment, be supported in your learning, and be a valued member of a dynamic team.
