Company Location: 7885 119 St, Delta, BC, V4C 6L8 Position: Long Haul Truck Driver Job Type: Full-Time; Permanent Salary: $ 34.62 per hour Number of positions: 4 Work location: Various locations in Delta (BC) and need to drive truck across various locations in Canada and the USA. Start date: As soon as possible. Job Responsibilities · Operate and Drive Tractor-Trailer to transport goods and materials over long distances. · Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods. · Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes, and cold storage. · Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting goods. · Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption and prepare trip envelope. · Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management. · Record rest periods, distance traveled, and fuel consumption. · Communicate with supervisor/dispatcher and customers to organize routing and delivery schedules. Job Requirements · Class 1 or A driver's license or equivalent. · Air brake endorsement. · Experience as a long-haul truck driver would be an asset. · Ability to communicate in English. How to apply?
