Duties: · Preparing patients for dental examinations; · Assisting the prosthodontist during examinations and full mouth prosthodontic rehabilitative and general dental procedures, including: dental implants, dental bridges, dental crowns, dental veneers, endodontics, orthodontics/ Invisalign, oral hygiene, periodontics, pinhole surgery, restorative dentistry, sedation dentistry, and tooth extractions; · Taking dental impressions, applying fluoride treatments, pouring models, mixing dental materials, placing temporary restorations, polishing teeth, applying dental sealants, and applying topical anesthetics; · Explaining treatments and issues concerning oral hygiene to patients; · Supporting, comforting, and educating patients; · Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment; · Preparing dental instruments, fillings, compounds and various dental materials; · Conducting impression trimmings, dental dam applications, and infection control procedures; · Taking and developing X-rays; · Providing emergency support; · Performing clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, billing and insurance, and ordering supplies; and · Collaborating with other team members.
