Responsibilities Tasks: Apply the technique of hoeing between the row Clean the crops Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Mixing fertilizer Organize tasks to accomplish the work Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops Weeding Fertilize and spray crops Harvest crops Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Maintain work records and logs Perform general farm duties Write daily basic progress reports. Experience and specialization Type of crops: Soybeans and other grains. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system Feeding and watering system Fertilizer applicator Harvesters Seed drill Sprayer or duster Tractor Combine harvester Farm truck Loader Planting equipment Hand tools. Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling - automated.
