Business Address: 1925 Enterprise Way Suite 305, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 0J8 Language of work: English Term of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent Position (40-60 hrs/week) Work Locations: Various Locations Job Duties: - Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions - Address customers' complaints or concerns - Load and unload goods - Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials -Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment - Perform emergency roadside repairs - Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle - Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption - Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo - Transport and handle dangerous goods Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems
