Kelly O'Bryan's Neighbourhood Restaurant, West Kelowna, BC is looking for a Food Services Manager (NOC 60030) for our location at 3470 Carrington Road, West Kelowna, BC V4T 3C1. This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week. The job duties are as follows: · Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of Kelly O's West Kelowna · Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures · Oversee food preparation to ensure quality, consistency, and presentation. · Collaborate with chefs to plan menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability · Analyze customer feedback and adjusting menus or offerings accordingly · Recruit staff and oversee staff training · Set kitchen staff work schedules and monitor staff performance · Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices · Ensure health and safety regulations are followed · Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies · Develop promotional strategies to attract customers (e.g., special events, discounts, etc.) · As needed, perform duties of workers supervised (prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions) Successful candidates must have the following credentials: · Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory or head chef experience · Be able to communicate in English · Strong leadership skills · Flexible hours between day & night shifts · Must be knowledgeable in inventory control · Proper use of kitchen tools and equipment and lock out procedures · Knife skills and common cuts · Completion of WHMIS or equivalent (workplace hazards training) · Understand and implement proper fire safety procedures (training provided) Wage offer: · $33.65 to $35.00 per hour; or $70,000 to $72,800 annually If you think you meet these criteria, please send your resume via email at ad-min@kellyobryans.com.
