The ideal candidate will provide attentive care, engage in enriching activities, and ensure the child's safety. This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours per week. Should overtime be necessary during weekday evenings or weekends, it will be compensated at a rate of $30 per hour. Although the position is based in our home, living with us is not mandatory. Job Duties:  Provide high-quality care for the child and maintain close communication with us.  Supervise and ensure the safety of the child.  Plan and engage the child in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.  Read books and tell stories to support language development.  Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the child.  Assist the child with daily routines, including dressing and hygiene.  Organize creative play sessions to encourage learning and imagination.  Maintain a clean and organized play area and living space.  Provide emotional support and encourage positive behaviour.  Monitor the child's activities and report any concerns to parents.  Take the child to school and appointments.
