They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Their role involves managing teams, negotiating contracts, and solving on-site challenges. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on schedule, meet specifications, and stay within budget. - Create and submit budget estimates for construction projects. - Plan construction schedules, set milestones, and track progress. - Draft contracts and negotiate changes with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. - Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements. - Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and safety conditions. - Handle business matters. - Communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and adjust project plans as needed. - Manage the purchase of building materials and land. - Hire and supervise subcontractors and staff. - Resolve conflicts and handle unforeseen challenges that arise during construction.
