There is no option to work remotely. Salary: $35.40 hourly for 30 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning Start date: Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 2 vacancies JOB REQUIREMENTS Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Will train and 1 to 2 years previous experience as concrete labourer is required. Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy, Outdoors, Wet/damp Specific Tasks/Responsibilities: · Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials. · Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade. · Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. · Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. · Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. · Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. · Instruct apprentices. · Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures. · Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. · Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces. · Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
