As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our client relationships in the Lower Mainland and guide a team of Client Services Managers. This role is pivotal to driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring that our services exceed industry standards. Your Role: Director of Operations Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop your team of Client Services Managers, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Client Success: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their needs and delivering tailored security solutions. Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and close deals to achieve revenue and market share targets. Strategic Planning: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes. Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. KPI Management: Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure goals are met and continuously improved. Transition Management: Oversee seamless new business startups and transition plans. What You Bring: Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. 5+ years of managerial experience in an operational setting, preferably in security, law enforcement, or military, with 3+ years in business development. A history of success in client relationship management, problem-solving, and business development. Strong operational experience, including the management of large teams across multiple sites. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills. The ability to remain calm under pressure, exercising sound judgment and a hands-on problem-solving approach. Experience drafting policies, procedures, reports, business cases, and duty rosters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and analytical abilities. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle for travel between client sites. An understanding of financial and cost drivers in the security industry. Certification as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent (an asset)
