SIBER FACADE GROUP INC (https://siberfacadegroup.com) is hiring Construction Project Managers Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) Salary: 45.00 CAD per hour Benefits: Extended health care Requirements for the position: · 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry, including experience as a construction supervisor; experience in glazing and knowledge of window wall and curtain wall systems would be considered as an asset. · Good English, excellent written and verbal communications skills. · Education: College diploma in civil engineering or in construction technology; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Main duties: · Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion and occupancy; · Manage project's budget and coordinate any changes, forecast budget and track expenditures; · Create and oversee construction schedules and specifications; · Liaise with project team, clients, consultants, architects and sub trades to achieve a successful end-result, negotiate project's revisions, changes and additions; · Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, monitor the execution and implementation of the project schedule; · Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations; · Hire, coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors; · Oversee the purchase of building materials; · Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory; · Meet contractual conditions of performance; · Review the work progress on daily basis; · Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status; · Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones; · Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and RCOs; · Manage all change orders relating to project construction; · Analyze, manage and mitigate risks; · Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques; · Foster and enhance owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
