Head Office/Reporting office: 7171 Torbram Road, Unit 44 & 45, Mississauga, Ontario, L4T 3W4 Salary: $28.00-$30.00 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP. Other Benefits: Group insurance benefits including medical, dental and eye care coverage on a 50% cost sharing basis would be offered upon completion of six months of employment period with the organization Vacation: 4% of the gross salary Hours of Work: 35.0-44.00 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities · Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment & systems used in the stores, such as coffee machines, ovens, refrigeration units, sign boards, menu displays, cash registers, drive through systems. · Diagnose issues with equipment and systems and develop solutions to address them promptly. · Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment & ensure they operate efficiently. · Provide training to store staff on proper equipment usage, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to prevent equipment damage and ensure optimal performance. · Communicate with store managers to coordinate maintenance schedules, order parts, and to address equipment-related issues. · Follow company policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance, safety, and hygiene to uphold the quality and cleanliness standards of Tim Hortons. · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to track equipment performance and future maintenance needs. · Assist in new installations. Test newly installed equipment to verify functionality, performance, and safety, and calibrate settings as needed to meet operational requirements.
