O/A Thai Express Belleville Position: Restaurant Manager Duration/Type: Full Time Location: 189 Bell Blvd Unit 1, Belleville, ON, K8P 5K6 Salary: $53,500 per annum; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP. Vacation: 4% of the gross salary Hours of Work: 30.00 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities Accountable to ensure the successful operations of the location. This includes supervision of staff, administration duties, health and safety compliance and financial success of the location. Managing the restaurant by maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards. Ensures Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met. Assist Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions. Recruit, interview, and hire team members. Conduct performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivate and train. Ensure company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program. Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
