Overview/Summary of the role:

A General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of an organization or business. They are responsible for creating and implementing strategies that align with the long-term goals of the organization, ensuring all departments and employees are working efficiently and effectively towards achieving those goals. The GM’s job is also to ensure that the company’s reputation is maintained by upholding professional standards, building strong customer relationships, and promoting the organization to the public.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of work

- Creating and managing budgets, financial plans, and forecasts, ensuring the organization remains financially stable

- Directing and overseeing all departments including sales, marketing, human resources, and operations to ensure all work is being carried out in accordance with company standards

- Building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, customers, and suppliers to ensure business growth and success
