Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report.  Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.  Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.    Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.  Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. Job Summary: As a Graduate Project Controls Planner at Bechtel, you will assist in supporting cost estimating, analysis, and control activities and schedule development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring activities, as directed. This is a FIFO position working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA. Major Responsibilities: Assists in identifying the scope associated with schedule activities, as directed. Gathers appropriate information that defines general work requirements for a performing organization and unit. Prepares broad activity logic and any required interfaces between activities on schedules. Prepares durations for schedule activities within a discipline or specialty, as directed. Gathers and organizes appropriate quantity and workforce information for an assigned discipline or specialty. Assists in routine quantity/workforce loading in support of discipline or specialty work logic. Other responsibilities as designated. Education and Experience Requirements: Recent graduate with a Bachelor of Process, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.  Requires 2-4 years of related experience Prior internship experience in relevant construction fields will be viewed favourably.    Required Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel &/or Power BI tools. Basic understanding of technical processes, interpretation of engineering drawings, and project management practices associated with engineering and construction projects. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills. Demonstrated levels of initiative and engagement via positions of leadership in academic, sports and/or extracurricular activities. Successful completion of site medical (fit for work) examination. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
