Position Title:    Program Support Officer – Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Location:    Belgian Gardens Remuneration:    $87,790 – $96,217 p/a This role provides services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in Detention. The role of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Support Officer is to provide services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, including the development of programs and services that meet individual client needs and to facilitate communication between the Cleveland Youth Detention Centre and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Support Officer is part of a team that includes positions such as Case Advisor, Cultural Engagement Officer, Cultural Liaison Officers, Transition Officer, and Program Facilitators, who work collaboratively with young people, stakeholders, and families, to ensure services provided are culturally safe and promote the well-being of young people in detention.
