This Project involves greenfields and brownfields developments including earthworks through challenging terrain, construction of new crushing facilities and transmission line installations. In this role, you will oversee the development and preparation of project master purchasing commercial pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions. You will lead the development of purchasing procedures, planning, and forecasting of purchasing staff, directing negotiations, solving problems, and communicating with suppliers to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements and achieve the required service to meet project needs. Major Responsibilities: By reviewing the prime contract requirements, oversees the development and preparation of project master purchases pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions to be included in purchase documents on project commitments.  Prepares, maintains, and monitors project bidder’s lists, ensuring input is received from all procurement functions and other operational groups.  Reviews international project commercial conditions of purchasing to ensure purchasing pro-forma terms, conditions and procedures are compatible with applicable Bechtel Directives, Instructions and Procurement Procedures.  Forms, issues, and administers purchase orders.  Directs negotiations in the commitment of purchases, following review and approval of the proposed negotiating plan by the designated supervisor.  Communicates with suppliers to achieve required service and meets project needs. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Global experience in purchasing engineered equipment and material. Experience and thorough understanding of end-to-end procurement. Detailed knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, and quality control functions with respect to procurement activities. Experience working with the other functional service organisation, i.e., purchasing, supplier quality, traffic and logistics, and field procurement operations.
