Job Summary: As Cost Controller, you will be responsible for estimating, analysis and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill. You will prepare cost studies, review cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your detailed analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.  This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership Major Responsibilities: Level 1 Performs generally non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.   Coordinates the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports   Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports  Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency  Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures  Investigates the requirements for estimating and/or cost control data  Other responsibilities as designated. Responsible for cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for cost activities which require a high degree of technical skill  Analyses to provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges  Develops and implements project requirements for cost control in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures  Ensures work is completed as scheduled, supporting project organizational and administrative activities  Reviews identified cost trends for cost effectiveness and suggesting alternatives when appropriate  Maintains open communications with other organizations to support cost engineering analysis and control activities  Education and Experience Requirements: Level 1 Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience  Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerBI is strongly desired).   Ability to set-up and manage Ecosys Demonstrates a strong level of understanding of Project Controls general technical skills. Ability to effectively interface with multiple personnel and produce deliverables on time and with high quality. Able to work independently to meet project deadlines. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
