Job Summary: We are currently seeking candidates for an applications support role on the Parker Point Stockyard Sustaining project. This role is camp-based FIFO, supporting the construction automation requirements of the project team at the jobsite near Dampier, WA. Reporting to the Project IS&T Lead, you will provide input into project plans and procedures and support project construction personnel with the implementation of construction applications and data exchanges. Major Responsibilities: Works to understands the suite of project applications and develops working relationships with project teams to implement and support the construction applications, data integrations and reporting requirements for the team. Works with the Project IS&T Lead and other Bechtel resources to ensure the construction applications are implemented according to Bechtel standards, in compliance with the Bechtel construction standard procedures and associated work processes and in line with the specific execution needs of the project. In coordination with the project functional leads, audits electronic data exchanges to/from Bechtel construction applications to ensure they are implemented configured correctly to support construction work activities. Provide construction application training as needed to the project workforce. Ensures rules of credit are configured as per the process and procedures and review proposed deviations if required. Reviews quantity reporting interfaces and data completeness and accuracy between Bechtel project controls and construction applications. Produces Reports and Dashboards of construction data to assist management in understanding construction status and progress. Reviews Bechtel construction applications deviations raised by the project, evaluates their impact to other Bechtel applications, data integration and work processes and seeks GBU construction automation lead approval if the deviations are appropriate. Works with the Project IS&T Lead to understand customer data and handover requirements. Actively addresses issues and concerns as they arise and supports the development of an innovative culture on project. Education and Experience Requirements: Industry experience gained through a recognised degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialised courses in Information Systems, Engineering, Construction, or related fields, and/or work experience in a STEM-related field. Required Knowledge and Skills: Ability to understand and support end-to-end the project work processes and both off-shelf and in-house developed business applications. Able to manage own workload with minimal guidance and identifies and leads opportunities for automation. Able to translate technical information into practical terms for discussion. Able to work and communicate effectively within a team environment. Microsoft Office Suite intermediate skills with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Power BI, etc. Demonstrate a strong safety focus and value the development and maintenance of client relationships. Some additional attributes you may bring to this role include: Experience identifying and communicating scope changes that may have a cost or schedule impact and provide input for management reporting. Knowledge of installed quantities tracking and reporting, work packaging, cable reel administration, permanent plant equipment maintenance, technical correspondence, work processes, etc. Knowledge of data models and class libraries and how they impact engineering, procurement, construction work processes.
